Add Webchat to Your Site
Overview:
Before installing the NextPaw Webchat Widget on a website, you should first identify the platform your website is built on. Common platforms include Shopify, Wordpress, Squarespace, and Wix. If you are unsure what platform your website is built on, visit whatcms.org and enter your website URL. Click Detect CMS.
Once you've identified your website platform, you'll need to copy the NextPaw Webchat Widget code to a clipboard and paste in your website's header tags.
To retrieve your NextPaw Webchat widget code:
- Click the settings tab and select website.
- Scroll down to the NextPaw Webchat Widget Installation section.
- Enter the domain of the website you'd like to add your widget to, then click the Add domains button.
- Your domain will now appear in the active domains section. Click the blue clipboard button in the bottom left corner to copy the webchat widget code.
- Paste the webchat widget code in the header tags of your website. See below for installation instructions for common website platforms.

After retrieving your Webchat code and identifying your website platform, follow the installation instructions for your website platform.
*Note: If you have a web developer who manages your website, instead of following the installation instructions yourself, send your web developer the Webchat code and a link to the instructions for your website platform.
