Webchat Overview

With NextPaw Webchat you can interact with your website visitors over text - anywhere, any time. Improve your website experience by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and selling products all while on the move.

When a customer sends a message through your webchat widget, they'll be asked to enter their name, phone number & the location they want to reach out to (if you have multiple locations). Webchat messages will come directly to your NextPaw dashboard, where your team can answer their question, put that bag of raw dog food on hold, or book fluffy's next grooming appointment. 


FAQs

How do I respond to messages that come in from webchat?
Messages will be routed to your NextPaw Unified Inbox where you can respond to them just like you would with inbound messages that come in via SMS text, Facebook Messenger, or your Google My Business page.

Can I customize my Webchat Widget?
Yes! The webchat widget is completely customizable - You can change the bubble's icon, add your brand's colors, and edit the text displayed. A preview of the webchat widget is available to the right of the webchat widget settings. Click here to learn more about customizing your webchat widget.

Where do I find my Webchat Widget code snippet?
Go to the settings page of your dashboard and select the 'Website' tab at the top of your screen. Scroll down until you find the NextPaw Webchat Widget Installation section. Add your website domain to the field, then click the Add Domains button. Click the blue Copy Full Code button to copy the snippet to your computer's clipboard.
