Adding Repeating Events

Objective

Learn how to set up repeating events in NextPaw to increase visibility and engagement for ongoing events like adoption days, shot clinics, or community gatherings.


Why Set Up Recurring Events?

Repeating events are automatically posted based on your set schedule, ensuring consistent promotion across multiple platforms:

  • Google My Business
  • Store Locator Listings
  • 70+ event-specific websites and apps

Note: Events management is available to upgraded users. To access all NextPaw features, consider upgrading.


How to Add a Recurring Event in NextPaw

  1. Access the Events Section
    • Click the Marketing drop-down menu.
    • Select Events. Marketing Menu with Events Option
  2. Create a New Event
    • Add the event name and type.
    • Select the start date and time. Event Name and Date Selection
  3. Enable the Repeat Event Feature
    • Click the Repeat Event toggle.
    • Select the event frequency: Weekly, Monthly, or Periodically.

      Set the Event's Repetition Schedule
    • Weekly: Select the day(s) of the week the event should repeat.
      Example: If adoption events happen every Saturday, check the box for Saturday.
    • Monthly: Choose the specific day of the month for repetition.
      Example: If meet and greets are on the 6th of every month, select day 6.
    • Periodically: Set the number of days between each occurrence.
      Example: If training sessions occur every two weeks, enter 14 days.
  4. Finalize Event Details
    • Add a description, photo, links, or buttons.
    • Select the location(s) where the event should be posted. Event Details and Location Selection
  5. Save and Publish
    • Click Save to schedule your recurring event.
    • The event will automatically post based on your selected schedule. Save Button Location

Managing Recurring Events

  • To update an event's schedule, edit the event in the dashboard.
  • To cancel a recurring event, archive the Repeating Event in the current event window.
