Review Request Features
Objective
Maximize the impact of review requests by following best practices and utilizing NextPaw’s automated features.
Best Practices for Requesting Reviews
To increase the chances of customers leaving a review, follow these guidelines:
- Make It Personal: Ask customers for a review in person, right after they’ve had a positive experience. A friendly, genuine request goes a long way and makes customers feel valued. People are more likely to follow through when the interaction is fresh and personal.
- Give a Heads-Up: Engaging with customers directly and asking them for feedback can lead to more meaningful and detailed reviews. By having a conversation, you can help guide the review process and encourage customers to include helpful specifics about their experience.
- Explain the Process: Let customers know they’ll receive a text message with a direct link to leave a review. This sets the expectation, makes the request feel more legitimate, and increases the chances they’ll follow through when the message arrives.
- Make It Easy: Use the Request Review feature in NextPaw to send a direct message that includes a link to leave a review. This makes the process simple for customers and ensures they’re directed to the right place without needing to search for your business on Google.
- Highlight the Importance: Let customers know that leaving a review directly supports your business. Reviews help build trust with new customers, boost your visibility online, and provide helpful feedback. It’s a small action that makes a big difference in helping local businesses grow.
Automatic Review Reminders
- If a customer doesn’t leave a review right away, NextPaw automatically sends a polite reminder via text message after 24 hours.
- This feature ensures better follow-through, but you can turn it off or customize the reminder message in your settings.
