Creating Custom Products & Services

Objective:

Simplify the process of requesting payments for grooming appointments, curbside pickups, and other services by creating custom products and services in NextPaw. Once added, these items are saved for easy access in future orders, streamlining your payment collection via text.

Adding Custom Products and Services

You can add custom products and services to the dashboard in three ways:

• Directly from the Products page
• Within an Order
• Through Bulk Import via CSV

Create on the Products Page

1. Navigate to the Products page in your NextPaw dashboard.
2. Click Add Product.
3. Select the product type and enter the name, UPC, and price.
4. Optionally, you can add:
   • Inventory quantity
   • MSRP
   • Product images
   • Descriptions
5. Select the location(s) where this product or service will be available.
6. Click Save.

Once saved, your custom product or service will be available in the Products and Orders sections of your dashboard.

Create in an Order

1. Within an order, click the Product drop-down menu.
2. Enter the name of the custom product or service.
3. Select the new custom product or service with the (Add-New) tag.
4. Update the quantity, cost, and tax percentage. The total will be automatically calculated.
5. Click Save Order or Send Payment Request to finalize.

The custom product or service will now be stored in your dashboard for future use and can be edited anytime from the Products page.

Create from Bulk Import via CSV

For a faster setup, import multiple custom products or services using a CSV file.

1. Export a .csv list of your product UPCs from your point-of-sale system.
2. Navigate to the Products page of your dashboard.
3. Click Import CSV.
4. Your brands and product catalog will be automatically enabled and available for use in orders.
