Dashboard Analytics
Objective:
The Dashboard Analytics tool provides valuable insights into how your business is performing online, helping you understand your digital footprint. By tracking key metrics related to customer engagement, reputation, search performance, and website traffic, you can make data-driven decisions to optimize your marketing efforts, increase visibility, and improve customer interactions.
Analytics Overview
To access your Analytics Reporting tool:
Your Analytics Reporting tool is divided into different categories, depending on your NextPaw subscription level. Each category presents unique metrics about your online presence.
Date Range:
- The default date range is set to 30 days. To adjust the range, click the date button in the top right corner and select a new date range.
Customer Engagement
This section shows how often customers are engaging with your business on NextPaw and Google My Business.
- Conversations: Tracks the number of messages sent and received, and the total number of conversations in your dashboard.
- Customer Engagement from Google: Shows how many times customers clicked on the "Call", "Get Directions", and "Website" buttons on your Google My Business page.
- Google Customer Actions Graph: Breaks down Google engagement metrics by month (hover over the graph to see monthly values).
If you have a NextPaw website, you'll also see:
- Customer Engagement from Website: Displays the total number of calls, directions requests, and contact form submissions you received from your website.
- Website Customer Actions Graph: Breaks down website engagement metrics by month (hover over the graph for monthly details).
Reputation Overview
Here, you can track your review metrics across Facebook and Google.
- Reputation Overview: Shows the total number of review invitations sent, the reviews you've responded to, and the total reviews on Facebook and Google.
- Review Funnel: A visual representation of the review process: from invitations sent to new reviews received. Hover over the funnel to see the values for each section.
- Recent Ratings & Reviews: Displays the most recent reviews from Facebook or Google. You can reply directly from your dashboard by clicking on a review.
- Google Reviews Graph: Breaks down your average star rating on Google.
- New Reviews by Channel: Shows how many reviews you received on Google vs Facebook.
Search Performance
This section tracks how often your business appears in Google searches.
- Total Consumer Searches: Shows how often your business was found on Google My Business.
- Direct Traffic: Customers who searched for your business by name (returning customers or referrals).
- Discovery Traffic: New customers finding your business via organic keyword searches.
- # of Searches Where Your Business Was Seen: Shows how often your business appeared in Google searches each month.
- Search Views: Desktop search views (general keyword searches like "dog grooming").
- Map Views: Mobile or location-based searches (e.g., "dog groomer near me").
- Total Business Views in Google Search & Maps: Displays the total views your business received on Google Search and Google Maps.
- # of Business Views in Google Search & Maps: Shows how often your business appeared in Google Search and Maps each month.
If you have a NextPaw Website, you will also see:
- Website Traffic: Includes traffic by device, top keywords, and the most viewed pages on your website.
- Referral Traffic: Visits coming from external websites (e.g., partner links).
- Direct Traffic: Visits coming from users typing your website URL directly.
- Organic Traffic: Visits coming from search engines (new customers).
- Visitors by Device: Shows how many visitors accessed your website from desktop, mobile, or tablet devices each month.
- Keywords with the Most Clicks: Displays the most commonly searched keywords that bring users to your website.
- Pages with the Most Views: Highlights the most visited pages on your website.
Website Traffic
This tab gives insights into how visitors interact with your website.
- Website Traffic: Graph of where viewers came from:
- Referral Traffic: Visitors from external links.
- Direct Traffic: Users who typed in your URL.
- Organic Traffic: New visitors from search engines.
Note: We want Organic Traffic to be the largest!
- Visitors By Device: Breakdown of desktop, mobile, and tablet traffic.
- Keywords with the Most Clicks: Top search keywords bringing traffic to your site.
- Pages with the Most Views: Which pages are being viewed most often
Marketing
In this tab, you'll find an overview of your active marketing tools within your NextPaw Dashboard for the selected date range.
- Announcements: Total and currently active announcements are displayed on your website.
- Events: Number of active and past events listed.
- Promotions: Metrics for any special offers or discounts being shared.
- Blogs: Overview of published blog content and engagement.
