Setting Up Roles and Permissions

Each user in NextPaw is assigned a specific role, and through that role, they’re given permission to access specific features within the dashboard.

The roles are:

  • Account owner. The account owner has unrestricted access to NextPaw and all business locations. Typically, owners don’t deal with day-to-day tasks in NextPaw but are responsible for setting up the organization and managing it. The Account Owner has the ability to add new Team Members, archive Team Members, and modify all Team Member information and access such as passwords and the ability to reply to messages and reviews.
  • Team member. The majority of NextPaw users will be assigned the role of team member. This role is made specifically for sales representatives, staff members, or anyone who doesn't need full access to all dashboard categories. Typically team members are responsible for helping to manage new messages & reviews, but can also be given access to more permissions by an account owner.

The Permissions are:

  • Manage Reviews
  • Manage Messages
  • Manage Contacts
  • Manage Events
  • Manage Blogs
  • Manage Orders
  • Manage Offerings
  • Manage Promotions
  • Manage Announcements
