Adding an Auto-Reply Message

When a customer sends a message to your business, they’ll receive an auto-response message that is set in your dashboard settings. We set a standard auto-response greeting when your account is created, but we recommend customizing these messages to best fit your business.

*Attention: If a customer sends a message outside of business hours, they’ll see your after-hours message.


To update your auto-reply messages:

  1. Click the settings tab and select auto-responder.
  2. Click the message field you want to change & enter your new message.
    *Note: Take advantage of personalization placeholder tags for your auto-responses. These placeholders will show the appropriate information on the customer's side for each location.
  3. Once you've updated your messages, click save.

*Attention: If you wish to turn off your auto-response messages, click the toggle to the left of the save button.
