2 Factor Authentication for Facebook
To fix a 403 error when responding to a Facebook review you'll just want to add 2-factor authentication to your Facebook account. (If you already have that setup, you'll skip to part two which is re-connecting your NextPaw dashboard to Facebook.)
Enable 2-factor authentication on your Facebook account:
- Go to your Security and Login Settings by clicking
in the top right corner of Facebook and clicking Settings > Security and Login.
- Scroll down to Use two-factor authentication and click Manage.
- Choose the security method you want to add and follow the on-screen instructions.
To reset the connection between NextPaw and Facebook:
- Login to https://app.nextpaw.com
- Click Settings (Bottom left hand corner, in the blue menu.)
- Click 'Accounts'
- If the Facebook button reads 'Unauthorize Facebook' start by clicking 'Unauthorize Facebook' and confirm the un-authorization.
- If the Facebook button reads 'Authorize Facebook' simply click the 'Authorize Facebook' button to get started.
- Log in to your personal Facebook page that has Admin access to your Business Facebook Page.
- Allow and accept all of the questions that you are asked in the smaller window that opens.
- After the smaller window closes, you'll want to select your Business Facebook page from the drop down options.
- Click 'Save' to confirm the Facebook + NextPaw connection.
